One of the oldest operational markets in the US, Pike Place Market showcases some of Seattle's best local shops.

Alaskan Way
After walking through Pike Place Market, a simple stroll westward will take you to Alaskan Way. This place is perfect for pictures next to Puget Sound.

Seattle Center
After touring Alaskan Way, you can walk back eastward to the Seattle Center, home to the iconic Seattle Space Needle.

South Lake Union
You can walk, take the bus, or streetcar to South Lake Union from the Seattle Center. Home to Amazon's Corporate headquarters, SLU is also home to diverse eateries and local shops.

One of my favorite spots to walk and explore, Capitol Hill has good night life, parks, eateries, breweries, bars, clubs, and more. There are honestly too many places that I could list. Perhaps I will make another page dedicated to all of my favorite food spots.
